AI Seed Wins “Exit of the Year” a Second Time at 2025 UKBAA Awards

London, UK. Wednesday, 31 December 2025:  AI Seed continued its winning ways by taking home the coveted “Exit of the Year” award a second time at the prestigious 2025 UKBAA Angel Investment Awards for the successful exit of its AI for agritech investment, Observe Technologies.

Observe Technologies, which has developed world-leading AI for automating the feeding and care of fish stock for salmon fish farms, was sold to Norwegian multinational AKVA Group, the world's largest supplier of technology and services to the aquaculture industry. AI Seed was recognized for its contribution to the growth of Observe Technologies into an AI category leader and its support in the acquisition by AKVA, delivering an 8x return to AI Seed’s investors.

The UKBAA awards are an annual event celebrating success and high performance in angel and early-stage investing, recognizing founders, angels, and venture capital investors behind some of the fastest-growing companies in the UK. Winning the prize against heavy competition cements AI Seed’s position as the UK and Europe’s leading vertical AI investor.
